Last month we released the long awaited, Ballerina Doll pattern in sewing and machine embroidery versions. There are so many possibilities with this doll pattern, but first, we wanted to make sure we designed a Ballerina Top and Skirt to dress the doll with!
In case you didn't know, I grew up training to be a professional ballet dancer (dancing 6-7 days a week) and going to school (half day school - half day dance!). When I graduated, I took my professional ballet teacher's certification and ran my own dance studio for 7 years before we started our family. Ballet is near and dear to my heart, and I am thrilled to be able to share this pattern with you today!!!

The Ballet Wrap Top & Skirt pattern includes pieces to fit (3) sizes of Bee Sew Inspired Dolls: 14”, 16” and 18” dolls.

1/3 yard (30cm) of knit fabric(for all sizes)
1/2 yard (50cm) of light weight fabric such as georgette (for all sizes)
Coordinating ribbon for ties
Premade bias tape or cotton fabric to make your own
Variety of colors of threads
Bobbin thread
Snap buttons
Embellishments such as buttons, bows, ribbons, lace etc.

Gather all your tools and supplies
Download and print out the correct pattern template size for your Bee Sew Inspired Doll you are sewing the clothing for.
Cut and label all your fabrics according to the directions. Back and stretch fabric with optional light-weight fabric interfacing.
Follow the fully-illustrated, step-by-step instructions.
Be creative! Use your imagination to add embellishments, embroidery details and texture!
