Join the Storybook Felt Panel Sew-Along!

Teach, play and act out the complete fairytale story of Little Red Riding Hood, her grandmother, and of course, the wolf through my Storybook Felt Doll & Bag set!

Join me starting March 6 as we make the “Storybook Felt Panel” project together! It’s the perfect project to unleash your creativity and involve your children -- and the SAL is totally FREE!

Keep reading for all the important details!

This felt panel project creates an adorable Grandmother's Cottage, which converts into a keepsake bag with fun flaps to explore and store the dolls inside. The felt shapes can be simply cut out, or you can do basic sewing and add embellishments through hand-embroidery! During this sew-along, I'll walk you through all the steps at creating and adding special touches to your felt shapes!

Size: 36” x 69”

Techniques: Basic cutting, sewing, and hand-embroidery skills

Difficulty: Beginner

This project uses my Storybook Felt Panel from my new To Grandmother's House fabric collection with Riley Blake Designs. See the materials you'll need below.

This SAL is fully supported, with tips and tricks and all the organization you will need to just relax and enjoy all the fun sewing. We'll share weekly blog posts, emails, social media posts, and videos to make sure you have everything you need have success sewing the Storybook Felt Panel. If you haven't already, sign up for SAL communication at the link below.

See a list of stores carrying the To Grandmother's House Storybook Felt Panel here. (I'll try my best to keep this list updated as panels sell out or more shops carry it!)

The Storybook Felt Panel SAL starts on March 6 and ends March 27! For just a few hours each week, you'll create this playful panel in no time! See the schedule below, although you can sew at your own pace!

I can not wait to see your finished Storybook Felt Panels! Please share using the hashtag #StorybookFeltPanel and tag me @sewastory_jenniferlong so I can cheer you on!
