It's Month 1 of the Millie's Dresses Quilt Along hosted by Fat Quarter Shop using the amazing pattern from Lori Holt! This month, we're sewing four dresses for Row 1 of the quilt!
It's so fun to pick fabrics for each dress! As a Riley Blake Fabric Designer, I'm using my To Grandmother's House fabric collection. This collection features delicate pinks, rich reds, vibrant greens, earthy browns, and bright whites for a color palette that evokes a vintage feeling, romance, and nature. The plaids particularly work well for the dresses!
Don't you just love this apple pie fabric for the dress? It evokes memories of a grandmother wearing an apron while baking. It's so sweet!
About Millie's Dresses
Millie's Dresses Pattern is available as Paper Pattern or PDF Pattern. The Quilt Along runs from February to July 2024. The quilt is inspired by Lori Holt's grandmother, who had fashioned a whole closetful of fancy frocks!
