Today, I am sharing with you my FAVORITE mask tutorial! Throughout the past (2) years we have all been sewing up tons of masks. In that time I have tried out many patterns and variation of patterns and my children (we have 4) always come back to this simple pattern! It is their absolute favorite and I would like to share it with you today.
This mask provides great coverage, fits so well (3 sizes) and it tried, tested and approved by my 4 children (and teens). In this tutorial I also add a 3rd layer of fabric (which our schools have requested) but you can put that in or omit that layer as you wish.
Step 1:
Choose your child's absolute, FAVORITE fabric! My youngest daughter is all about cats! She loves our farm cats, takes care of their babies every spring and fall, feeds, hugs, nurtures and even "trains" them! lol..
So it is was no surprise that she chose this adorable NEW fabric line called "Cat's Meow" by Shawn Wallace for Riley Blake Designs. Just look at the sweet kitty faces, balls of yarns and even some feathery friends appear in this line!
Of course you can't have masks without hand sanitizer and I love my quilty, pineapple hand sanitizer!
