It's Week 5 of the Quilted Witch SAL, hosted by Fat Quarter Shop. I'm having a bewitching time sewing along using my Little Witch Fabric (shipping to shops April 2024), my Country Life Fabric (available NOW), and some accompanying RBD Basics --all from Riley Blake Designs.
The week's block is called Shoo-Fly Star. I love how much depth the design has -- using four colors in each block and alternating between light and dark prints creates a mesmerizing effect. And it's just so fun to mix and match the rich colors in the Little Witch fabric collection in this block!
Look at this adorable Quilted Witch needle minder! This witch (with her patchwork skirt and star block shirt) is anything but scary. Needle minders are so handy for keeping your needle secure and easy-to-find while working on handwork projects. Or just display her in your sewing space as cute decor. I'm feeling inspiration for my Halloween costume next year...
Here is a SNEAK PEEK of some of the adorable prints from my upcoming Little Witch Fabric Collection with Riley Blake Designs! The color palette is a a RICH, autumn palette with a lovely fairytale nod to Halloween, making this collection a whimsical way to sew all season long.
