The Shield and Crest Block patterns finish at 9" x 9" and are both traditionally pieced. What fabrics will you choose? Will you embellish the crest with your family emblem or initials using hand embroidery stitches, beads, buttons or ribbons? Make the block pattern into a pillow, a bag, a wall hanging or set it aside for the FULL QUILT at the end of the year! Imagine the possibilities!
