I'm so excited to be a part of the Shine Together Quilt Pattern from Riley Blake Designs. The quilt features a rainbow of colors from POParazzi and Hush Hush 3 fabric collections to create one harmonious quilt. As a bonus, each Friday a few Riley Blake designers are releasing a bonus block that you can use as an optional block for the quilt or to use in your own designs!

Here's the Shine Together quilt -- isn't it so beautiful? It's made up of a variety of 12" blocks. The Sawtooth Star blocks have 6" centers that you can substitute for the alternative blocks each designer is providing, so you can build your own unique quilt top! I can't wait to see what you all make with this free pattern!

Here's my alternate block! This adorable block is based off of a paper doll. You'll love customizing the dolls' clothing with your fabric choices! You can also add cute embellishments with applique, embroidery, and buttons!
As a bonus, the pattern comes with instructions to make the block in two sizes: 6" for the Shine Together Quilt and 12" for those who prefer larger piecing or want to use the block in their own projects!

Hush Hush 3 Fabric
Hush Hush 3 is a collaboration fabric collection featuring neutral prints from Riley Blake Designers. The collection includes a variety of white and tan prints to use as backgrounds for your projects. My Apple Season print is including in this collection, and I used it as the background to my Paper Doll Blocks!
My Apple Season print is scattered with whole apples, sliced apples and apple seeds to represent the full growing cycle. It's perfect for kitchen decor, fall and winter projects, and any quilt you want to add a fun and refreshing background to! I hope you love exploring all the fun the Hush Hush 3 prints offer!

I couldn't resist making another paper doll to match the free block for Shine Together! If you loved making the Paper Doll block, check out the set. I'm calling them Paper Dolls A and B (Anastasia and Benjamin). I'm hoping to someday have a whole alphabet of cute paper doll blocks!
