Storybook Adventure

Join me for an adventure today! Let's go inside a storybook and see where our imagination takes us!

Today at Bee Sew Inspired, the Littlest Family's Big Day - goes on an adventure in the woods to meet all their forest friends. Imagine a world where animals stand on two legs, wear clothes, talk, read books and travel through a wonderful world of creativity.

Well this is exactly what the animals in The Littlest Family's Big Day by Emily Winfield Martin for Riley Blake Designs new collection are doing - going on an adventure! I just love the main print as it is full of so many fussy cutting options. The book stripe called Library is a darling print and it is perfect in this reading pillow project. The Toss print even has sewing notions scattered throughout! How perfect is that?!!!

So friends, let's get started on this adventure by sewing up the new mini-quilt pattern release "Pages of a Book".

This mini quilt is so fun to make! With all straight sewing seams and opportunity for some fun fussy-cutting, it is a great pattern for showcasing fabrics! Use the pattern for a hot pad, table topper, or pillow. It would even make a PERFECT reading pillow (instructions for turning this mini quilt into a pillow are included in this pattern). This is a great project for beginners or for making many unique pillows for gifts, baby showers and special occasion presents.

This pattern is part of a the Bee Sew Inspired Pattern Club. You can join the club for just $5/month - (no commitment - so you can cancel at anytime). It is a wonderful way to acquire FRESH, new and fun mini quilt patterns that you can sew up in a day - all while being inspired and supported in a private Facebook Group just for our members! 2022 is going to be amazing - (we have the whole year planned out already) - so join today OR grab the $5 club for a friend. What a great gift that gives all year long!!! Click HERE!

We needed a few animal characters to join us on this adventure and the Lion and Lioness have been asking for a chance to appear on the Blog again... so today they joined us for some fun!!! lol...

I made the popular and fast, Spring Fling Dress for the Lioness. I added a 3" trim folded in half to the bottom of the dress and I love how it gives a nice accent and some weight of the fullness of the skirt.

Thank you for joining me today on this littlest families BIG adventure! I can't wait to see what you are creating next! Please tag me on social media @beesewinspired so I can have a chance to see, share and tag you back!
