I'm so excited to be sewing along with the 2024 RBD Block Challenge! It's such a fun way to prioritize sewing each week, connect with other quilters, and play with fabric!
It's Week 2! This week's block is called "Sparkle and Shine" by Beverly McCullough. I love how this block radiates color from the center. This block uses half-square triangles with a twist to get the fun effect.
I'm sewing along using fabric from my upcoming To Grandmothers House Fabric Collection with Riley Blake Designs! This fabric collection (in stores February 2024) has sweet colors, cute prints, and lots of fussy-cutting fun! It was so fun choosing reds and pinks to get the ombre effect across my block. And isn't that text print just darling?
