I'm so excited to be sewing along with the 2024 RBD Block Challenge! It's such a fun way to prioritize sewing each week, connect with other quilters, and play with fabric!
It's Week 4! This week's block is called "Framed Star" by Fran Gulick. I love how the star looks like it's layered on top of a red square and white square -- it gives it so much dimension!
I'm sewing along using fabric from my new To Grandmothers House Fabric Collection with Riley Blake Designs! This fabric collection (in stores February 2024) has sweet colors, cute prints, and lots of fussy-cutting fun! For this block, I mixed earthy browns, striking red, and a sweet pink for a block that stands out!
