Storybook Felt Panel SAL: Week 1

Teach, play and act out the complete fairytale story of Little Red Riding Hood, her grandmother, and of course, the wolf through my Storybook Felt Doll & Bag set! This felt panel project creates an adorable Grandmother's Cottage, which converts into a keepsake bag with fun flaps to explore and store the dolls inside. The felt shapes can be simply cut out, or you can do basic sewing and add embellishments through hand-embroidery!

Week 1 is for gathering our materials and roughly cutting our doll shapes! This week, I am sharing details for the supplies you need, how to organize and store your project for the SAL, how to cut out shapes, and tips for making this project with children. The felt shapes should only be spot cleaned as needed. You can use a wet rag and a small amount of mild detergent to clean any areas that need cleaning. Then air dry the shapes.
