I'm so excited to be sewing along with the 2024 RBD Block Challenge! It's such a fun way to prioritize sewing each week, connect with other quilters, and play with fabric!
It's Week 6! And this week's block is MY DESIGN! It's called "Bloom Where You Are Planted". It's a whimsical interpretation of a blooming flower with leaves. And the center of the flower is perfect for fussy-cutting, adding extra embellishment, or highlighting a favorite print!

I'm sewing along using fabric from my new To Grandmothers House Fabric Collection with Riley Blake Designs! This fabric collection (in stores February 2024) has sweet colors, cute prints, and lots of fussy-cutting fun!
I couldn't resist making this block in multiple ways to showcase all you can do with it!
Block (left): I added an appliqued and machine-embroidered Little Red! (Freebie below!)
Block (center): I showcased a bold red fabric in the center.
Block (right): I fussy-cut Little Red from my fabric and centered her in the block.
